Leather Quiltdori with Rachel McGough
Learn to create a fun Leather Quiltdori inspired by the Midori Travelers Notebooks. Also will make a little notebook to include on the inside.
Supplies needed: Scissors, An old quilt block or favorite fabrics, sewing machine if able to travel with one. There will be some to share. Bring a Crop-a-dile if you have one as well.

Board Book Journal with Mindy Lacefield
Using a children’s book board journal we will prepare the surface for paint by laying down ephemera and sanding some of the pages. We will play in paint and create from the inspiration of our childhood and memories. I will demo lots of creative steps to filling your journal with creating pattern, texture, mark making, and painting girls. I think we can re-capture some of our childhood through creating with lots of color and enjoying the energy of creating among a beautiful group of creatives.

- golden - no. 5 neutral gray to share
bleeding art tissue - stamps to share
- neon paint to share
- vintage tissue pattern paper
- paint sprays to share
- ephemera to share
- washi tape to share
Supplies for students to bring:
- hard book board (an old or new kids book. You can find lots at $1 bin at target or even places like goodwill.)
- sand paper (a rough grit)
- graphite pencil - 6b or 8b
- catalyst wedge - no 6 (gray)
- white gesso
- ephemera - old book pages, song books, old receipts, tissue paper
- collage pauge or mod podge - matte
- 1" foam brushes
- scissors
- prismacolor colored pencils - a few of your favorite colors will be fine
- white paint pen - water based
- container for water, paper towels, palette paper, apron
- dick blick matte colors I love---> purple madder, green blue light, orange light, brilliant magenta, amethyst, white, sage blue
- any acrylic colors you love working with=============================================================================
