Saturday Class - Hippie Chick Collage with Lori Sparkly Franklin:
Hooray for Hippie Chicks!!!
Join instructor Lori Sparkly Franklin in this joyful class, where, using her famous ‘spaghetti confetti’ collage technique, and her super-duper cool kit, we’ll crank up the pasta machine and create a colorful merry masterpiece! this fun class is suited for all skill levels. The ‘hippie chick’ class is making a special debut exclusively at Handmade U!!!!
Lori Sparkly Franklin, owner of Sparkly Heart Studio, is a nationally known Minnesota mixed-media artist and instructor. Her work has appeared in numerous publications, including a Stampington cover in 2013. Lori originated her ‘spaghetti confetti’ collage technique many years ago and it has since become one of her most popular class requests.
Stitching with Rachel and Jennifer:
Basic Sewing kit (fabric scissors, embroidery needles if you have, and thimble - optional)

Hippie Chick Collage:
matte gel medium (will have some mod podge available to share, though matte gel medium will lay papers flatter)
Agenda
Thursday - arrive between 6:00 - 6:30pm for our welcome evening, dinner will be serves around 7-7:30pm, followed by our Vendor Night! (all attendee are allowed to bring items to sell at Vendor Night!)
Friday - arrive at 9:30am for a Full Day Class, lunch will be served and snacks. Finish class up around 3:30pm, head out for an antique mall shopping experience, dinner will be served around 7:00pm.
Saturday - arrive at 9:30 am for a Full Day Class, lunch will be served and snacks. Finish class up around 5pm, relax and visit, dinner will be served around 6:00 pm followed by dessert and send off.
The Cost :
Alumni Cost : $655
Prior to Dec 20 the Cost will be : $675 EARLY BIRD SPECIAL paid in full!!
After Dec 20 the Cost will be : $695, or payment plans - email me to set up your plan!

Breakfasts will be on your own or included in the Hotel rates if you are staying there.
Classes
Friday and Saturday classes with Lori Sparkly Franklin, Rachel McGough & Jennifer Allred. There will be a supply list provided for you to bring some tools and personal goodies, everything else will be included in class kits.
Goodies
You will receive the OFFICIAL HANDMADE U T-shirt. An adorable personalized item handmade just for you! You will also receive a goodie bag of fun items by amazing sponsors. You will be included in raffle drawings during the weekend. Oh and SO MUCH MORE!!
Shopping Opportunity!
Each semester we've had fun shopping opportunities for you!! We will have a vendor night with lots of unique items for purchase, if you have handmade items that you'd like to sell please let me know! We also shop Friday early evening at a local antique mall....WOW, lots of fun things to uncover!
